After years of watching female characters as simply plot points or trophies, it’s no wonder we can all fall into stereotypes when writing women.

This workshop will explore the six key archetypes of women in story, with the aim to understand them — so we can either kick back against them or use them in original and interesting ways. You’ll gain insight into your own tendencies toward tropes and leave with tools to build female characters who feel multidimensional, real, original, and surprising.
